Hyaluronic Acid Filler VYC-25L for Jawline Restoration Yields High Satisfaction, Improved Jawline Measurements, and Sustained Effectiveness Across Skin Types, Age, and Gender for up to 12 Months
Summary: The patient-reported results of VYC‑25L hyaluronic acid filler injection were evaluated in this study on 157 participants. Of the 157 participants, 49 served as a control method. The treated patients reported significantly improved jawline definition and patient satisfaction across all skin types, genders, and ages. By Month 6, over 70% of treated participants reported being somewhat or very satisfied with their lower face and jawline, and at least 78% were satisfied with the treatment overall. Objective 3D imaging showed a mean 4.6 mm improvement in prejowl sulcus depth and a 6.0 mL increase in jawline volume in the treatment group, versus 2.5 mm and a 2.6 mL volume loss for those in the control group. Satisfaction with marionette line appearance also rose markedly, and although women experienced slightly more injection‑site responses than men, safety and efficacy were consistently high across all demographic subgroups.
